What is Radon?
Radon is a naturally-occurring radioactive gas that can cause lung cancer. It is the 2nd leading cause of lung cancer next to smoking. The only way to determine Radon levels in the home is by testing. After a short term, non-invasive test is performed (usually 48-72 hours) the testing material will be retrieved and sent out to our affiliated lab. Results will be provided by a detailed report.
A WDO inspection is a professional assessment of a property to identify signs of termite or other Wood Destroying Organism activity and potential areas vulnerable to infestation. It involves a thorough visual examination of both the interior and exterior of a building, including areas like the attic, crawl spaces, and foundation, looking for evidence of WDOs and conditions that could attract them
Abandoned underground heating oil tanks aren't uncommon on older properties, but a standard home inspection won't tell you if one is hidden on the property you're looking to buy. An oil tank sweep is designed to locate and report on any underground anomalies, so you don't end up suffering the health and financial consequences of a possible buried tank.
A sewer scope is a video inspection of a property's main sewer line, typically from the house to the city's connection or septic tank. It involves using a specialized camera on a flexible cable to assess the condition of the pipes and identify any potential issues like cracks, blockages, or root intrusion.
